What product do you wish existed?
A productized recruiting service focused on Latam. Something similar to what I tried with Scouth. Mainly to find great and affordable content people to work on Failory.
What are you bullish on?
Programmatic SEO.
I’ve been using it to grow Failory for more than a year and it has been working well.
I’m bullish because programmatically-created content helps satisfy really specific users’ search intents. Which are frequently not satisfied by editorial content. It’s often not profitable for businesses to write such specific articles.
At Failory, we’ve created content about Accelerators and Incubators based in lots of different countries and cities. There weren’t any existing articles for most of these locations because the search volume is too low for a company to spend lots of money creating an article on the topic.
Considering that Google’s objective is to help users find the best answers to what they are searching for, I think that Programmatic SEO will continue to rise.
What are you bearish on?
Traditional Education. I’m studying Economics at university so it’s quite paradoxical. But I’m sure that in the future education will be so much different.
I frequently say that Failory is my “playground” where I’m able to experiment with things and learn skills that I’m interested in. I think you only learn by practicing.
Traditional education is still a memory game. I recently had a subject on Business Administration and it was all about memorizing different classifications and definitions.
In the future, (I hope) education will be more focused on learning by practice.
What’s your most important habit?
Every time someone subscribes to Failory’s newsletter, they receive the following email.
Every day, I take around 30 minutes to answer the emails of 10-20 new Failory subscribers. It helps me learn about our audience and build a close relationship with many of them. Plus it helps with email deliverability and increasing open rates.
What’s your favorite Trends Report?
