What’s your most important habit?
Meditating at some point in the first half of my day.
If my day’s activities are like a meal to be prepared, meditation is the sharpening of the chef’s knife.
What are you reading right now?
Recently I’ve been feeling a bit of future shock from everything AI-related. It’s exhilarating in the same way I imagine high-G maneuvers are… if you don’t remember to breathe you might pass out.
To combat this, I’ve been (re)reading Zero to One by Peter Thiel. I also run a book club that’s currently reading Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins. They pair nicely.
What product or service do you wish existed?
I couldn’t pick just one from my “ideas” database! Broadly, I’d love to see more digital products/services built to benefit and connect people on a local level.
What product are you obsessively using right now?
Super.so is my latest obsession for building content-heavy websites. I’ve been a power user of Notion for about 4 years now, so the ability to deploy a decently designed site without switching editors makes my heart hum with efficiency.
What are you bullish on?
Great conversational skills, particularly in-person. Knowing how to strike up chats and learn more about who’s around me creates more meaningful connections in my day-to-day life. The monotonous “Hey, how are you” interaction is what I dread. I get so much more out of speaking purposefully with people.
What’s your favorite Trends Report?
It was the report that convinced me to join Trends Pro, so it deserves a commission or at least an honorable mention at the holiday party. I see community building as something that will continue to grow in popularity over the coming years and this report saved me at least a week of research.
