  • Start smaller than you think – take your minimum viable product and cut it in half, then cut it in half again to find your true core offering.
  • Set a feature budget that limits how many features your product can have at once, forcing you to prioritize those most aligned with your core offering.
  • Say no to feature requests even when it feels uncomfortable – compensate affected users when removing features to maintain excitement about your core product.
